There’s something truly magical about a crisp fall wedding day — and Jenna and Patrick’s Columbus, Ohio wedding had it all: history, heart, golden light, and just the right touch of Southern charm.
From their emotional ceremony at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in German Village to their elegant reception at The Peak at Edison, every moment was intentional, warm, and beautifully them.
The day began in the heart of German Village, one of Columbus’s most historic and picturesque neighborhoods. Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, with its rich character, stunning stained glass, and timeless architecture, provided the perfect setting for Jenna and Patrick’s vows.
As they exchanged rings and promises, soft light filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the entire space. It felt sacred and intimate — the kind of moment you never forget. As Columbus wedding photographers, these emotional, light-filled ceremonies are always our favorite to capture.
One of the most fun (and successful!) moments of the day? Jenna and Patrick’s nod to a classic Southern wedding tradition: burying a bottle of bourbon to keep the rain away. They chose the exact spot together one month before their wedding and, sure enough — the weather was absolute perfection.
Just before heading to their reception, they dug up the bottle, shared a few laughs (and sips), and celebrated not only their new marriage but also the sunshine and peak fall color surrounding them.
Jenna and Patrick’s reception took place at The Peak at Edison — one of the most unique and visually striking wedding venues in Columbus, Ohio. The space perfectly balanced industrial charm with soft, romantic details. High ceilings, exposed brick, and massive windows filled the room with golden hour light, creating a dreamy, glowing atmosphere all evening.
Their design was nothing short of breathtaking. With a neutral palette of warm, earthy tones and lush florals that mirrored the autumn landscape, the space felt both elegant and welcoming. Twinkling lights, candles, and thoughtful décor made every table feel like part of the story.
What’s so special about The Peak at Edison is how it brings the outdoors in. With the fall foliage at its peak, the colors seemed to flow right through the windows, blending effortlessly with the indoor warmth. Guests moved between the patio and the reception space, enjoying the crisp autumn air and the cozy, joyful celebration inside.
From start to finish, Jenna and Patrick’s day was a reflection of their love — thoughtful, emotional, joyful, and filled with little details that made everything feel personal. Whether it was the Southern bourbon tradition, the cozy autumn color palette, or the sweet way they looked at each other throughout the night, every part of their wedding was intentional and full of heart.
