Mr. + Mrs. Brake

I am so excited to share with you Laura Beth and Brandon’s absolutely STUNNING wedding at Brick and Mortar at North 4th Corridor in downtown Columbus, Ohio!

The day began on Sunday afternoon with the couple getting ready in the downtown Hyatt hotel. Both Laura Beth and Brandon had such a sweet, calm, excited-ness that was such a joy to be around while they prepared to see each other for the first time.

When we arrived at the venue, Laura Beth hid away while we set Brandon up for their first look at their gorgeous ceremony arch. When Laura Beth walked out and said Brandon’s name, he turned around and they saw each other for the first time. Their joyful excitement carried on into portraits as we photographed them before guests began to arrive. Once we finished portraits, we led them inside where they would wait for their ceremony. They were just supposed to wait… however, the waiting space was absolutely gorgeous and we ended up taking some additional portraits while guests found their seats.

After their wedding ceremony, Laura Beth and Brandon walked back down the aisle as newlyweds while their families cheered. The reception at Brick and Mortar was the absolute coolest! Guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside on the beautiful patio outside the reception hall. Then everyone moved inside and found their seats. Brandon and Laura Beth kicked off the reception with their first dance and the best cake cutting/smash. During the reception, we were also able to do the coolest thing ever! The DJ (DJ Atomix) had a display as a part of his set-up and we were able to give him a same-day sneak peek to put up for everyone to see (thank you so much DJ Tom for making that happen!). After dinner and some night-time portraits, the newly weds lead the dance floor in one of the most insane dance floors and even after our full day, we didn’t want to leave!

Mr. + Mrs. Brake, thank you for having us capture your wedding and thank you so much for making us feel like family! We had the BEST time celebrating you!
